Travel Journal
Places travelled, moments captured, traces preserved.
To travel is to learn to see differently. To linger over a face, follow the light across a façade, capture the atmosphere of a street or the solitude of a landscape. Along the way, I collect images, drawings, watercolours and fragments of life — traces of a world that never ceases to elude and surprise me.
My travel journals are spaces of freedom where drawing, photography, writing and memory come together. Their purpose is not so much to reproduce places faithfully as to preserve their imprint: a sensation, a presence, a suspended moment.
From Europe to Asia, from cities steeped in history to desert horizons, each journal tells the story of a journey. A journey through a place, certainly, but also through a gaze transformed by its encounters with the world.
For something always remains of a journey: an image, a colour, a few words hastily scribbled down.
